Once the theme has been established, submissions will be opened by the Editorial Officers. We encourage every medium of submission including images, film and sound! All students will be invited to submit via their student email address so make sure to regularly check on your inbox! Call outs will be advertised on the NEST Instagram: @nestmagazine and the Unions Instagram @leedsartsunion

Submissions will be chosen for inclusion by the Editorial Officers and the Students’ Union team, taking in to account the theme and narrative of the issue as well as the layout and design of the publication. Each year we receive a high volume of submissions and endeavour to include as many as possible. Once submissions are selected you will be informed of the decision by your Editorial Officers and they will begin work on finalising the design of the latest NEST issue!

Usually, each issue is launched into the world with a launch party, giving you the opportunity to pick up the new mag, have a drink with your friends to help celebrate you being a part of this publication. You will also be able to collect your copy of the newest NEST from the Students’ Union and the University reception desk!
