About the Event
Ibtisam is a Doctoral Researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations. He also runs the project 'Where love is illegal' - documenting and sharing LGBTI stories of discrimination and survival from around the world. He is also affiliated with the centre for research in race and rights, a multidisciplinary research centre based at the university, and is the Project Coordinator for its LGBT History Month events.
