About the Event
The Poetry, Performance & Practise workshop is a chance to explore your creative writing and performance skills.
The session will feature spoken word, poetry and rap performances by local writers; Sharena Lee Satti and Lence. The artists will also be sharing their performance tips, experiences and writing exercises to get your creative writing juices flowing. The session will culminate with an invitation for you all to share your own work in a relaxed and fun open mic session. Meet new and like-minded creatives, experiment with your writing skills or share that poem you’ve been working! Before long you’ll be a seasoned writer and performer on the Leeds spoken word scene!
