About the Event
THRU - Talk, Help Relate & Understand, is a peer support group service for young people. Gain the opportunity to connect with others with lived experience in a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what anxiety means to us. We would love to have you join us.
During this session, we will begin to understand why we might experience anxiety through “The Fight or Flight Response”. Looking together at the different ways we might cope with panic and fear. Then finally we look in more detail at one coping mechanism named “Graded exposure” which can help to manage anxiety in a step-by-step way.
