Vigil

We are aware that some of our LAU students have been particularly affected by the events happening in the Middle East. The Students’ Union wants to open a safe space for our students to honour the lives lost. On the 1st December at 11am we will be holding a vigil in the Union Space where students will be able to light an electric tea-light and there will be a chance to hold a minute’s silence. Our Raise and Give Society Leaders will be taking a £1 donation to the British Red Cross 'Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territory Appeal' for those who wish to take part in the vigil. If you’re in need of support at this time there are appointments and drop-in sessions available from the Student Advice and Wellbeing Team.
