EDITORIAL OFFICER
As an editorial duo you will play a huge part in shaping how the union communicates with students across print, traditional media, in-person and digital. Your work could involve designing graphics and posters for print and/or digital media and you’ll also be at the helm of NEST Magazine. You’ll be responsible for encouraging students from across all courses to contribute to its content, in collaboration with the Student Liaison Team. You will develop and promote your chosen theme, gather submissions and bring together a magazine which can be print, digital or both, that reflects the diverse creativity of all students at the University.
Strong design skills are essential for these roles as you’ll be heavily involved in the visual identity and overall aesthetic of the union’s public presence. In collaboration with the Student Liaison Team, you could also work on key campaigns and projects, helping to shape the union's public presence and ensuring our message reaches as many students as possible.
For NEST, you’ll be supported in managing a set budget and timeline, ensuring it is produced to a professional standard and launches successfully on schedule, complete with a launch party where you can showcase your hard work to the students featured, your peers and University staff.
