Stitch & Bitch: Material Swap Shop

Come on down to Stitch and Bitch’s Swap Shop to take a browse, and maybe take home just what you needed to start or finish that project you've been thinking of! Bring any old materials ( clean fabric, yarn, threads and ends) that you don’t need anymore and swap for something brand new! There's no need to go out and buy something new from the shops, think about giving something old a new life. Please note that the swap shop is for swapping of materials and should not include any crafting equipment. Examples of items you may want to bring for swapping include fabrics, yarns, thread, sequins or buttons. If you have any queries about this please contact the Students Union or ask your Society Leaders.

Herbal tea will be served at this event and Stitch and Bitch will also be a general meeting alongside the event. You can get right into working on your new idea!

Please note if bringing in your own project that materials and equipment brought to this session should be limited to crochet, knitting and sewing equipment and should be used solely by the individual who has brought this in. If you have any questions please contact the Students' Union or speak to your Society Leaders.

We recommend signing up if you are interested in this event so the SU team can collect your information and assess what may need to be put in place. However tickets are not needed to attend this event – so do feel free to turn up on the day. This event is open to current LAU students only.
