About the Event
This session, on Friday, the 27th of February, is all about Sashiko, a Japanese method of visible mending. Bring clothes you want to mend, or decorate, and use our box full of scrap fabrics to make something unique!
But don't worry - if you don't have any clothes you want to bring along, you can use this technique to make embroidered pins, and as always, feel free to bring your own project along.
This method is incredibly beginner-friendly and only requires a basic running stitch (see the Sashiko Guide below), which our leaders will be there to teach you and assist anyone as needed.
Signing up isn't necessary, but it will guarantee you get to take home a printout of our Sashiko guide!
**Please note by signing up to this event you agree to abide by the Society Members Code of Conduct, which can be found on the main LAU Societies page.
