Being part of the Union is about having a voice and being heard in a way that could be invaluable in your future and the future of others! The students chosen to represent you will play an important role in making a difference to your time at LAU so make sure you have your say and nominate yourself or speak to others and encourage them to apply!
STUDENT WELLBEING OFFICER

Working alongside the Student Liaison and Student Advice and Wellbeing Teams, as well as our network of Leeds-based wellbeing organisations, this role is about helping students discover, access and benefit support available for students.
You’ll design eye-catching campaigns and host engaging events around everything from finance, accommodation, mental health, and safety. Think mindfulness pop-ups, neurodiversity events, self-care socials, budgeting workshops or just cosy check-in and chat spaces during busy times of the year.
At the heart of the role is reminding students to look after themselves and each other while building a happier, healthier university community.
