Freshers Fair

Find out more about what the city of Leeds has to offer, grab some freebies and chat to a whole host of local independent businesses and arts organisations. We have so many amazing local businesses and they are all here to tell you how they can help make your time in Leeds as amazing as possible! With plenty of offers, vouchers, freebies and more, it's not an event to miss!

Don't forget to speak to our wonderful society leaders to learn about what events and activities they are planning to put together for this academic year. You will also be able to sign up to a variety of society mailing lists at the fair, so you can keep in contact with the societies you're interested in joining. Theres such a wide variety, from religious and culture-based societies to crafting, gaming, stitching and more; there's something for all interests. Why not pop along to see what LAU societies there are on offer this year and sign up to try something new!

We also have our amazing University departments hosting stalls! Hear from the University’s workshops and student services about how you can make the most of digital within your studies. See what other students have been creating and explore your digital capabilities.

PLEASE NOTE: This is our busiest event of the year so you will need to reserve a time slot to attend. Sign ups will close on Monday the 14th of September at 3pm.

If you are hoping to come at a quieter time period we recommend signing up for a slot between 3pm - 4pm, however we cannot guarantee how many freebies will be available later on.

This event is open to LAU student only. Anybody who has not signed up for a time slot and cannot verify they are an LAU student with their Microsoft email address will be turned away.

Queuing for entry to the fair will be outside at the second entrance. Please be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately.
