SOCIALS OFFICER
As the Socials Officer, you’ll be one of the key people turning campus life into something unforgettable! Working with the Student Liaison Team, you’ll dream up, organise, and promote student socialising in all areas, crafting the events that bring everyone together and help build a fun, welcoming, tight-knit LAU community.

In this role, you’ll help get students celebrating, collaborating and meeting new friends, making their university experience even better! You’ll make sure every event from coffee in the café to Summer Ball is inclusive and accessible. You’ll get to team up with different university departments and work with external organisations to bring your ideas to life.

Alongside the rest of the Executive Officers, you’ll approve new societies, help be the catalyst for growth and change in the union and keep our student community buzzing with activity.
You’ll also champion student feedback, listening to what union members want to see and play a part of making those activities and events actually happen. Ultimately, your options are endless if it helps to support the educational, cultural, social, sporting and recreational needs of our members and boost engagement across the whole Union.
