EDITORIAL OFFICER
As Editorial duo, you’ll step into the prestigious role of Editors-in-Chief of the union’s iconic NEST Magazine, one of the most sought-after positions in the Student Executive Officer Team. With high demand and fierce competition every year, securing this role is a real chance to leave your creative mark on LAU history.

As Editors, you’ll be responsible for the design and compilation of NEST, encouraging students from across all courses to contribute to the magazine’s content. Working as an elected pair, you’ll collaborate with the Student Liaison Team to develop and promote your chosen theme, gather submissions and bring together a publication that reflects the diverse creativity of all students at the university. Strong design skills are essential, as you’ll oversee the magazine’s visual identity, layout and overall aesthetic.

You’ll be supported in managing a set budget and timeline, ensuring the magazine is produced to a professional standard and launches successfully on schedule, complete with a launch party where you can showcase your hard work to the students featured, your peers, university staff.

Alongside your editorial and design work, you’ll take on key responsibilities as Executive Officers, including attending committee meetings, approving union plans and signing off on the formation of new societies and events.
