Buddy

Scheme

Making that first step into your course at Leeds Arts University is an exciting time, but you may have lots of questions. This is why we’d like to invite you to join the University Buddy Scheme!

If you're a second [level 5] or third year [level 6] student and would like to pass on your words of wisdom then why not sign up to be a buddy?

Benefits of having a buddy:

  • Having the opportunity to meet with someone already at the University and studying on your course.

  • Having someone to signpost you to help, support, advice and guidance when you need it.

  • Creating creative networks.

When you join the scheme, we will match you up with a current Level 5 or 6 student. Your buddy will then arrange to meet with you in the café over a tea or coffee so you can chat with them about how you’re finding your time at University and discuss useful pointers on how to help you settle into your studies.

If you would like to be a part of our Buddy Scheme, simply just sign up using through the and the University's Widening Participation team will be in touch!
