We're excited to launch the Union event of the year! The Student Elections give every student the opportunity to decide who will lead Leeds Arts Union for the next academic year. Elected students from across the University make up the Student Executive Officer team, working together to improve the experience of student life here at Leeds Arts University.

Being part of the Union’s diverse team gives you a huge amount of experience in so many different areas. Successful students will develop and gain skills in communication and confidence building, leadership and meeting skills, organising events and activities, and campaigning and creating positive change. You’ll not only have a great year but you will play an important role in making a difference to your fellow students.

It's an awesome team to be a part of so what are you waiting for?

It’s simple! Read carefully through each officer role description. If one of these sounds like it could be the job for you (or a friend) simply complete an online nomination form using the buttons below.

Alternatively, please feel free to chat to the Union team if you have any questions at all. Once you have completed your nomination, you will receive support and training throughout the entire election process from composing your manifesto to campaigning for student votes. Think about your experience as a student - how would you like to shape the Union moving forward? Think two heads are better than one? You can run as a pair with a friend for any position apart from the Student President and Student Governor roles.
